The Department of Exercise Science offers graduate curricula leading to the M.S., M.A. and Ph.D. degrees. The program is designed to prepare persons for careers in teaching, clinical situations, professional leadership and research. Specialization areas in exercise physiology, biomechanics and sociopsychology of sport are offered at the Master of Arts level. The Ph.D. offers research opportunities in exercise physiology, kinesiology-biomechanics and sociopsychology of sport.
