Degree Programs

The School of International Relations offers the B.A., M.A. and Ph.D. in international relations and a variety of courses in five major areas of study: theory and methodology, international political economy, international politics and security, foreign policy analysis, and regional studies. The curriculum is a balance of theoretical and policy oriented courses and stresses the importance of a diversity of approaches to the field.

The School of International Relations encourages undergraduate double majors, especially with economics, history, journalism, foreign languages and political science. Programs are flexible, allowing students to gain a broad background in international studies and, at the same time, to specialize in a particular area. An international relations minor is also offered.
