The German Department offers a variety of courses from basic and advanced language classes to literature classes and general and cultural topics. The departmentŐs program stresses a core curriculum, yet it allows students -- through electives, independent study and study abroad -- to fashion their programs to fit their own career goals.

The department degree offerings include the B.A., M.A. and Ph.D.
